Project Management & IT Support

Conducted project management for building projects at Uppuvelur School including potable water access and sanitation. Updated the IVC website and gave computer skills lessons to staff and children.

Janani Home Mentor

Worked primarily at Janani Home, teaching the girls meditation, yoga and how to improve their general well-being. Organised many fantastic day trips and educational visits for the girls.

Education & Community Support

Mainly worked at Janani Home, helping with school homework, teaching English and taking part in every possible children and women group activity.

Teaching & Program Coordination

Organized English lessons and awareness programs with children. Coordinated interns from a Bangalore university and took part in a life-skills summer camp in Kolar.

English Teacher & Health Educator

Taught children English including years, animals, numbers and played with them to help them develop. Also made visits to women and children groups to teach medicine.

Health Awareness Coordinator

Gave children and women awareness programs about hygiene. Spent a huge amount of time helping the girls from Janani Home with their school homework.

Teaching Program

My experience with IVC was transformative. I taught English to wonderful children and learned so much about Indian culture. The organization was supportive throughout.

Women Empowerment

Working with the women empowerment program opened my eyes to the resilience and strength of Indian women. An unforgettable experience!

Community Outreach

IVC provided a safe, structured environment for meaningful volunteer work. I made lifelong friends and contributed to real community impact.

The health awareness program gave me a chance to make a tangible difference. Organizing camps in rural villages was challenging but incredibly rewarding.

Teaching Program

Teaching children at Janani Home was the most fulfilling experience of my life. Seeing their progress day by day was pure joy.
